Im delighted, iv been asked to be the official photographer for the Limerick Deaf community Center here in Ireland, happy days 
The first photoshoot with them is on next thursday evening when its the official launch of the center, and ill give a link to the pics when they are ready

Also, I’ve been suggested twice by professionals (once a year ago and now this year) to look into cochlear implants but this concerns me because I have profound loss on the right side and severe on the left…and heard that one cannot use the hearing-aid or implant after surgery and wait a few weeks for it to be activated…so that means…several weeks of silence with no sound…that really will drive me up the wall.
On the other hand, my BTE hearing aid works fine…but isolation tend to occur socially speaking..:/.

Also, by the way, it’s much tougher on me because I work at home in my studio doing illustrations/design projects on my own for clients located out of state and usually have no creative feedback around here in this town I’m at..It’s like as if I’m the only illustrator here..kind of.

ope you like, it was a great night, over 300 people turned out for the opening and loads of guest speakers 
im very happy, and now they are looking in to me working in the center itself at weekends 
as well as being the official photographer, its going well, but iv worked hard at it, I have an active blog, advertising and extensive going out there and making myself known to people, handing out business cards and I find ‘Flickr’ excellent for active feedback, peraps you should try it there, its not all about photos, there are groups for art too, I think it would be good for you.
