The Silence of Deafness is an Abstract, not an Absolute.
Years ago I went to see a psychiatrist for depression. I think it must have been the longest 1 hour consult. The psychiatrist stuttered terribly so made communication very difficult. Needless to say I never went back. Whenever I think back on it I have to chuckle.
Anyone want to share there’s be it funny or difficult.

I am Roman Catholic but no longer go to church services. I stopped going years ago as I could not hear what the priest was saying and felt so lost and confused I felt it wasn’t worth the stress. I am still a deep believer I just don’t go to church.
I have tried approaching the priests and asked them if they could have a special mass for those who are hearing impaired or deaf but as yet have had no luck.
Do you go to Church and if so how do you cope?
